WHO ACTUALLY DEVELOPED IMMIGRATION POLICY????????

It is apparent, based upon how the current proposed Immigration Bill has been developed, that it might as well have been written by Illegals themselves.

The requirements that have been developed are open to so much ambiguity and "end-arounds" that it is doomed for failure.

The fact that more illegal foreign nationals are now rushing into our Nation than ever, is evidence that the proposals developed by congress and the "gang of eight" are a JOKE.

This "ass-backwards" approach to legislation, constantly taken by congress, MUST STOP NOW, and it MUST with this significant legislation.

How will our government determine, that illegals who actually will come forward and register, have adequately learned "English?"  If they don't learn English, what will Homeland Security do; deport them and their little children?????

What will happen to illegals who will not, or cannot pay a fine?

Can you visualize the size and costs of the bureaucracy that will be needed to manage this process?????

How will we know that all illegal foreign nationals have "come out of the shadows?"  Will we just wait until they reveal themselves as terrorists or gang members?

When did our Judicial system declare that the consequences of committing a crime shall be dependent upon the size and ages of the law-breaker's family?

Our ILLEGAL FOREIGN NATIONAL problems must be approached with a "CAUSE and EFFECT"  solving process.

Our government is well aware of the "CAUSES" of this problem; the impotence of not being able to implement the requirements that were designated after Pres Reagan's amnesty.

The effects are the costs, crimes, and even "TERRORISM" that our CITIZENS are exposed to; as well as the "CLEAR AND PRESENT DANGER TO OUR REPUBLIC'S SOVEREIGNTY."

The "CAUSE" of close to 20 million ILLEGAL FOREIGN NATIONALS must be addressed by:
- IMMEDIATELY AND EFFECTIVELY SECURING OUR BORDERS
- MAKING "ENGLISH" OUR NATION'S OFFICIAL LANGUAGE
- FULLY IMPLEMENTING THE "E-VERIFY" PROGRAM
- NOT ALLOWING NON-CITIZENS TO OBTAIN DRIVING LICENSES
- PERFORM AN INDEPENDENT, COMPLETE AUDIT AND EXAMINATION OF OUR WELFARE  PROGRAMS AND DETERMINE AND PROSECUTE INDIVIDUALS COMMITTING FRAUD
- ALLOWING LAW ENFORCEMENT TO VERIFY THE CITIZENSHIP STATUS OF INDIVIDUALS OR IMPLEMENT THE REAL ID ACT
- End "Birth Right" citizenship

Present these steps in one bill called "IMMIGRATION ENFORCEMENT."

After these steps are taken, the data collected can be reviewed and analyzed, and a more effective, efficient, and successful policy developed based upon the results.

WHAT HAPPENED TO OUR NATION"S "MELDING POT?"

This summary is not available. Please click here to view the post.

"STEP BY STEP" PROCESS MUST BE TAKEN

It is time for the practice of "common sense" and "rational" thinking within our government.  "Political Correctness" must be abandoned; having the name "political" renders it ineffective and biased.
Our government must re-establish the foundation of our Nation's genesis. Yes, we are a "Nation of immigrants," but we must ensure that we are, more importantly, a "Nation of Americans."  We already have evidence that our Nation has a segment of citizens who, for whatever reason, desire to murder our citizens and disrupt our society.  Rational thinking would tell us that an even greater number of our Illegal foreign nationals pose a greater, more dangerous threat.
This should lead a "reasonable individual" to ask why is our government so anxious to push through an "all-inclusive" immigration policy? Why does our government want to spend tax payer funds assisting those who are in our Nation illegally, and, at the same time, cutting back on important services to our veterans, elders, poor, and other citizens?
Why does our government appear impotent at effectively securing our Southern border immediately? Why won't our government immediately pass legislation which: stops chain migration; stops birth right citizenship; makes English our "official language;" enforces "E-verify;" implements the "real ID Act?"
Taking these steps first, is "common sense," and is the "rational" approach to take, prior to passing comprehensive reform.
